Have A Roarsome Day Out At Liverpool One

April 9, 2019

If you are looking for a free day out this half term around the Liverpool area then look no further than Liverpool One’s Dinosaurs unleashed event. For the dinosaur mad members of your family, this is the perfect free family day out. Dinosaurs unleashed is situated within Liverpool One, one of Europe’s leading shopping and leisure destinations, located near the historic waterfront and featuring over 170 stores, bars and restaurants plus a cinema, 5 acre park and even a indoor adventure golf course.

The Dinosaurs live event is fully interactive, you can download a free app to use whilst you are there which will allow you to collect and hatch dinosaur eggs. Once you have hatched your eggs, there are eight in total, you can then play, feed, walk and even dual with them, how cool! The app is completely child friendly and suitable for all ages. You can download the app to use at Liverpool one from 29th March to 2nd June.

During the event, the park has aptly been re-named ‘Chavassic Park’, this is where the ‘battle arena’ and ‘feeding’ areas will be as well as other interactive areas. Don’t forget to take a dinosaur selfie, there are selfie spots dotted around the park. Throughout the event there will be special dinosaur appearances, you can sign up to the liverpool one newsletter to find out about these.

If you need any help during your roarsome day out, you can ask one of the ‘park rangers’. The park rangers are on hand to share fun dino facts and help out with your dino quest should you need it. I have heard you can can get a special dino-hunter sticker off them too!

There is lots to see and do for the whole family at Liverpool one, including plenty of yummy restaurants ( Five Guys, I’m looking at you) to refuel after all that dino hunting, you could even put your feet up and catch a movie at the Odeon cinema.

Our whole family, even the teenager, will love this event which is why I am planning on booking little overnight stay at Liverpool one Premier Inn this Easter half term. None of us have visited Liverpool before so I am really looking forward to it!
