I’m a big fan of children’s non chocolate advent calendars. We bought Ava one last year as I felt she was a little too young for a chocolate one and I am so glad we did. Ava loved opening up a little toy each morning, it made the whole countdown to Christmas so much more magical, plus she still plays with the toys almost one year on making it great value for money. I also do a book advent each year, thankfully because the girls are so young, this will be the third year I have wrapped the same books up, I wonder how long I can get away with it for???
This is the calendar I bought Ava last year and I can’t recommend it enough, she loved it and still does. I hadn’t planned on buying it again for Ava this year but there a lots of different characters compared to last year that I know she would play with throughout the year. I going to have to justify it by buying it for Poppy!
I love the Santa’s workshop theme of this Playmobil calendar. Ava doesn’t have any Playmobil yet but this would be the perfect introduction to it.
As much as it pains me to say it, I think this will be Ava’s advent calendar this year. I’m not a 100% that this is value for money but the look on her face will be priceless. She adores Paw Patrol.

Thankfully the l.o.l craze has not hit our house yet and I am very glad seeing the price of this for what you actually get. I wanted to include it though as I know kids go completely nuts over these things.
Who doesn’t love a bit of Lego. Ava is too young for it at the minute, I can’t wait for the day I can buy her one of these. This would definitely be my choice when it comes to non chocolate advent calendars.
