Last year I started taking part in #livingarrows with What The Redhead Said. The idea is to post a photo each week that celebrates childhood. I love having these posts to look back on so I’ve decided to join in again this year.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth
Yet again it has been a fair few weeks since I last joined in with Living Arrows, I’m determined to get better at this! We have had such a busy month and loads of days out so blogging has took a bit of a back seat. I’m back now though and have plenty of posts planned out, so here’s to regular uploads!
Last week was our holiday to CentreParcs, we had the BEST time. Ava was in her element, as soon as 3 little ducklings waddled into our villa on the first day I knew she was going to love it. We had a pretty action packed week full of activities and couldn’t of asked for better weather, it was like being abroad. Poppy is still a bit young to fully enjoy it but she loved watching the ducks everyday and really enjoyed the baby sensory class we went to. I booked Jack and Andy onto a couple of activities too, a lot of our plans always resolve around the girls so it was nice for Jack to do something for him. I’d show you pictures of their day but they were too busy having fun shooting crossbows and getting shot at playing paintball.
Ava’s favourite activity by far was the pony ride, she was very quiet during the ride but the second she got off she was beaming and hasn’t stopped talking about the ponies since. This was only the 2nd time in her life she had been on any kind of horse ride, the first being only 2 days earlier, she did so well.
CentreParcs really is great for kids, every restaurant we ate in had free baby food available, a play area and there was always a free balloon to be had. The staff made quite a fuss over Pops and she lapped up the attention cracking out her best cute faces and smiles.
After last week we are all pretty tired, a week of chilling out is definitely required. With weather as nice as this though I’m sure we will manage to fit a little adventure in…
