Long before Miss Poppy came into the world I entered a competition to win a newborn photoshoot. I completely forgot I had entered until an email came through congratulating me. We had a newborn photoshoot for Ava so I knew I wanted one for Poppy. I had never heard of Janine Healey before but honestly after meeting her and seeing the photos, I don’t think I would go anywhere else. Janine is so lovely and the extra touches she includes make the whole experience extra special.
After the initial email I received a welcome pack with some information about the shoot on, plus a little yankee candle and box of Lindt lindor…my favourites! I was sold before I had even met her.
Poppy’s newborn photoshoot
Poppy’s newborn photoshoot took place in our own home. The props and headbands Janine bought with her were beautiful, it was so hard choosing between them. Janine was so good with Poppy, she was definitely in safe hands. She even bought a little heater with her to make sure Poppy stayed nice and warm and came armed with a phone full of white noise to help Poppy drift off to sleep.
I am sooo happy with how the photo’s turned out. Here’s the ones we chose to buy:
I think we can all agree the photo’s are absolutely stunning! We chose to have digital copies of the pictures on a USB which was beautifully packaged and came engraved with Poppy’s name and date of birth engraved on it. The USB sits proudly inside a padded display box which has one of our chosen photo’s on the front. Janine added some lovely extra touches into the box including a free print which I have popped in a frame and wrapped for my dads birthday, I know he is going to love it.
If you are from the midlands area I can’t recommend Janine enough. I already want to book her again to gets some family photo’s of us all.
