Cake Making and Christmas Planning #littleloves
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas this week and I Love it! It is by far my favourite time of year, everything about it makes me happy. Ava loves going around the shops looking at all the decorations.I can’t wait to see her face when we put our tree up.
I am a bit late to the party but I have decided to start joining in with the #littleloves linky run by Morgana at CoffeeWorkSleepRepeat. I’m really enjoying writing these reflective kind of posts at the minute. They are a nice reminder to enjoy the little things in life.
Christmas is slowly creeping in to our house and I am trying to be as organised as possible. Baby girls due date is the 29th November. This week I have been doing some Christmas planning and looking through Christmas magazines for some inspo. Anyone else obsessed with Christmas magazines? I buy loads of them each year!
Originally I planned to talk about the Christmas adverts that have been released this week. (yes, we are the proud owners of an overpriced weird looking monster, thanks for that John Lewis). However Peaky Blinders was back on our screens on Wednesday and I couldn’t not mention it. The opening episode was AMAZING and I can’t wait for the rest of the series!
On Thursday me and Ava made cakes. We were staying in all day waiting on deliveries. I decided today was the day we would make the Paw Patrol cakes I bought months ago. We don’t do baking very often, a toddler in charge of cake baking makes me die inside a little, but I want baking to be something fun we do together so I put on a brave face and let her have a go at mixing and putting the cake mixture into the cases. The result is some slightly odd shaped cakes but I have a little girl that is very proud of her Paw Patrol cakes. At what point do I mention to people she sneezed on them….
I treated myself to some new clothes this week including this velvet t shirt from Next which I wore for our last meal out before baby arrives. I actually went in looking for jumpers but this top caught my eye and I though £16 was pretty reasonable. Withing 15 minutes of being in the restaurant I had already spilt food down it so I can confirm that it washes well too!
The Bublé is out people. I am officially declaring Christmas!
I partnered up with Your Good Skin for their #28daychallenge to better skin. I’m almost at the end of my 28 days and I have to say I have noticed a difference in the smoothness and brightness of my skin. I am really loving the skin concentrate. I will definitely be repurchasing this when mine runs out.
