Halloween, Stranger Things and Christmas Love #littleloves
The past week has gone by so fast, in fact all the weeks seem to be going by so fast. Tuesday we welcomed lots of little trick or treaters and the following day we were doing some Christmas shopping complete with Christmas songs in every shop, madness! Not that I am complaining about that, I bloody love Christmas.
I am a bit late to the party but I have decided to start joining in with the #littleloves linky run by Morgana at CoffeeWorkSleepRepeat I’m really enjoying writing these reflective kind of posts at the minute, a nice reminder to enjoy the little things in life.
Here’s a little round up of what I have been loving this week..
I have been reading, or at least attempting to read Tanya’s Christmas: Make, Bake and Celebrate I love watching Tanya’s Vlogmas Youtube videos and enjoyed her previous book, so I was excited for this one to arrive. It’s a lovely mix of Tanya’s childhood Christmas memories, traditions, homemade present ideas and some very yummy looking recipes. Hopefully I will have finished reading it by next week and I can start planning what I’m going to make out of it first.
We have finally watched all of Stranger Things season 2! We have been trying to fit in a couple of episodes each night. The new series did not disappoint, If you haven’t watched it yet, you need too!
As it was Halloween earlier in the week we made a little Halloween party for ourselves complete with spooky looking food. I would like to say I made the food but I’m afraid Tesco gets the credit there, maybe next year I’ll get my ‘Pinterest mum’ on and make my own.
At 37 weeks pregnant I am in leggings and baggy tops mode unless it’s a special occasion, I have to say I am looking forward to going shopping for some nice clothes once baby is here.
Ava as always has a better wardrobe than me. I have just bought her a new coat from Next that I am in love with, It’s perfect for going on winter walks up the woods.
All I hear everyday on repeat is You’re Welcome from the Disney film Moana, Ava is completely obsessed with it and asks me to put the song on from the minute she wakes up. When I first heard it I played it on repeat so I only have myself to blame really, there are worse songs to be forced to listen to I guess!
We went Christmas shopping on Wednesday and I may of accidentally bought myself a few Lush bath bombs from the Christmas range. I need to test them out before I buy them for other people right?? Shoot for the stars is my favourite so far and I picked up the new SnowFairy Jelly bomb which I’m excited to try, SnowFairy is the most amazing smell ever!
I hope everyone has a lovely week
