One Week Of Toddler Breakfast Ideas

August 29, 2017

It’s been a while since I have done any updates on what Ava eats in a day so I thought I would share her meals for an entire week starting with some toddler breakfast ideas. I try to give Ava something slightly different each morning, just to stop boredom creeping in. Weekday breakfasts are usually something simple and quick to make, whereas weekends tend to be ‘treat’ breakfasts as we have more time. Ava is now 19 months old and is pretty confident with using a spoon to feed herself, we did baby led weaning so the occasional hand does slip in from time to time though! We use the Nuby SureGrip Suction Bowl and this Munchkin spoon and fork set Ava finds these easy to use and the bowl sticks just enough to stop her accidentally knocking it over. Warning – The suction does not withstand a toddler meltdown, although I’m not sure anything can!

Mealtimes with toddlers can often be daunting, especially when their favourite food is seemingly now their most hated. This is why I try to change things up and provide different options throughout the week. I’m always looking for toddler breakfast ideas on blogs and pinterest. What are your go to toddler breakfasts?

Great variety, mine just has cereal or toast!

  3. It’s so great to vary up their meals like this – now mine are a little older I’m appreciating how open they are to new food, and I’m sure keeping it varied is a big part of that!

I wish my daughter would eat like This! X
